So what makes this temporary tattoo look real?
Aside from quality inks and manufacturing the true secret to a realistic looking temporary tattoo is in the design. Tinsley spends countless hours designing our neck tattoos to make sure they look like the ink is coming from inside the skin, Not simply sitting on top of it.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. You will need a pair of scissors. A sponge, cotton pad, cloth or paper towel and access to room temperature or warm water. You'll want to make sure your skin is clean, dry skin and free from any oils. It's also best to apply your temporary tattoo on a place on your body that doesn't have a lot of hair.
Take the scissors and cut around the edges of your temporary tattoo. Don't worry about getting close to the edges of the design. Just make sure you don't cut into the tattoo design.
2. Remove clear, protective top sheet. Make sure you remove this top sheet.
3. Press tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin with design facing down.
4 Hold wet cloth against back of tattoo, press down and make sure to wet it thoroughly. Make sure you get the tattoo fully wet with that damp cloth and press it against your skin.
5. Wait 30 seconds (full thirty seconds, don't hurry). Don't rush. Good things take time. Peel off paper backing.
6. Gently rinse image with water for best effect.
Effective Ways TO REMOVE Your Temporary Tattoo
1) Scotch Tape - That's right! A little scotch tape works wonders if your new temporary ink has only been on for about 24 hours. Simply press the tape onto the tattoo and then pull off. You will see the tattoo ink come right off. Easy!
2) Baby / Mineral Oil - You don't need any dangerous ingredient to remove your tattoo. Gently rubbing a little bit of baby oil or mineral oil will take that tattoo design off in no time. This works really well if the tattoo is larger and the scotch tape solution isn't realistic. Safety Tips: Some people recommend nail polish remover or hydrogen peroxide. But that's pretty harsh and is rough on the skin. We don't recommend polish remover or chemicals. If it's a small temporary tattoo you can use a cotton swab.
3) Makeup Remover Wipes - This is a good solution if you have a temporary tattoo somewhere sensitive like your face. Make sure to use them gently when performing your tattoo removal.
4) Last but not least. A little warm soap and water! Gently rub your temporary tattoo with soap and warm water and a damp cloth and you will notice it start to come off. This is the best option if you are allergic to stuff. You don't want to have an allergic reaction taking off your fake tatt!
